EWI Announces 2013 Swirls and Sips for Scholarships Event: “Chicago Nights” scheduled for October
Executive Women International’s Huntsville Chapter will host its annual Swirls and Sips for Scholarships fundraising gala on Saturday evening, October 19th, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Atrium, located within the Main Street South shopping village at 7500 South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville.  This year’s event will have a Prohibition Era theme – “Chicago Nights” – and the setting will be reminiscent of a 1920’s style “speakeasy.”  Patrons will enjoy the “illicit pleasures” afforded by cocktail libations, heavy hors d’oeuvres characteristic of the era, rousing jazz music, casino-style table games, and a “Stolen Goods” Silent Auction.  The event will benefit the EWI scholarship awards program. As Mrs. O’Leary said the night of the Chicago Fire, “It’s gonna be a hot time in the ol’ town tonight!”
